I'm deciding on which dslr to buy right now (so many to choose from). What made you decide to go with the Canon XTi?

I know, there are many DSLRs available. I was looking at the Rebel, a Nikon D40x and a few others. The images that were produced from the Rebel have a very unique style, that I just loved. This was the main reason, as well as the ease of changing the settings with the readily-accessible buttons on the back.
I think all the cameras in that price range are great, however, it all comes down to personal preference.

I fell in love with filmmaking a few years ago... the art of story-telling through visuals then sparked my interest in still photography. I find it fascinating that one can convey a mood through the use of color, light, and perspective.
